Maj. Justin Manley, a surgeon with the 720th Operations Support Squadron, receives the USAF Alison Award for Character and Innovation from Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, commander of Air Force Special Operations Command, at Hurlburt Field, Florida, March 2, 2018. Manley distinguished himself while deployed as part of a Special Operations Surgical Team in 2016, providing emergency trauma care to over 400 patients and the first ever field application of the novel Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta catheter.
