U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Alec Buffi, a native of North Providence, Rhode Island, is a structural engineer with 18th Civil Engineering Squadron, 18th Civil Engineer Group, and is working alongside Royal Thai Air Force, Malaysian Army, and Indian Army forces to construct a school building in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 at Bankhaotien School in Lopburi, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 9, 2018. "We put up the whole roof in one day. After that, all of the teachers from the school came out to our hotel, and we did karaoke with them all night. I turned into DJ Buff Daddy because I was actually the (master of ceremonies) for the night, which was pretty fun. Out of the blue, the Royal Thai guys showed up, and we were just singing karaoke and drinking some beer, and having a great time with our friends out here." Cobra Gold 18 is an annual exercise conducted in the Kingdom of Thailand which runs from Feb. 13-23 with seven full participating nations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Matthew J. Bragg)
