U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Alexis Hausner, 355th Equipment Maintenance Squadron non-destructive inspection craftsman, uses a magnetic particle machine to detect cracks on a piece of metal at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., Feb. 22, 2018. The magnetic particle machine uses a combination of iron particles and a fluorescent bath to better identify cracks in metal. Davis-Monthan AFB's NDI flight inspects various components to ensure the structural integrity of its aircraft inventory is up to standard. These inspections play a critical role in maintaining the 355th Fighter Wing's ability to employ attack airpower. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Frankie D. Moore)
