Maj. Gen. David N. Blackledge participates in a remembrance Ceremony at Utah Beach on June 6, 2011. Blackledge lead paratroopers from the U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), U.K, Germany and France in ceremonies honoring those who fought and died during Operation Overlord, the D-Day landings 67 years ago, at Utah beach in Normandy, France on June 6, 2011. USACAPOC(A) is spearheading Task Force Normandy which is made up of U.S., U.K., French, and German paratroopers in a combined effort to remember and celebrate the 67th Anniversary of the D-Day operations. Senator John Kerry as well as a number of U.S. and foreign ambassadors and officials were also present at the event.
