A large naval aircraft carrier is underway at sea, leading a formation of escort vessels visible in the background. The carrier's flight deck is populated with multiple fixed-wing aircraft, and the ship is generating significant bow waves indicating active forward movement. Several smaller warships, likely destroyers or frigates, are trailing in formation behind the carrier.

ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 16, 2018) The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) and ships assigned to the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HSTCSG) transit the Atlantic Ocean while conducting composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). Truman is underway for COMPTUEX, which evaluates the strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea, ultimately certifying the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group for deployment. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Scott Swofford/Released)
