Franklin Baez, a water purification specialist with the 973rd Quartermaster Company, illustrates how raw water from a pond is extracted using a dolphin strainer, or floating suction filter, to treat the water during the Quartermaster Liquid Logistic Exercise conducted from June 1-17. Baez explains the process used to produce consumable water utilizing the Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit.
