General Electric TF-39 turbofan engine, serial number 441052, sits on a trailer Feb. 16, 2018, at Dover Air Force Base, Del. TF-39 engines were used on the C-5A/B Galaxies and were upgraded to GE CF6-80 engines used on the C-5M Super Galaxies that make up the Air Force’s current mobility fleet.
