MARINE AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. - U.S. Marines with Regimental Combat Team 5 drive stakes into the ground while constructing a Fire Support Coordination Center in support of Fire Support Coordination Exercise 1 Bravo during Enhanced Mojave Viper here May 28. The Marines are conducting joint training with 1st Battalion 6th Marine Regiment and 2nd Battalion 10th Marine Regiment, in preparation for RCT-5's upcoming deployment to Helmand province, Afghanistan. As the first regimental combat team to participate in EMV, RCT-5 will fine tune its command and control capabilities during this combined arms exercise.
