180215-N-SF984-0458 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 15, 2018) Gunner's Mate 2nd Class Austin Rye, from Hamilton, Ohio, and Ship's Serviceman Seaman Natori Anderson, from Greensboro, N.C., assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), participate in a gun shoot on the ship's aft missile deck. Dewey is on a scheduled deployment to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific region. It will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) in order to advance U.S. Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
