U.S. Marine Master Sgt. Charlie Collins, assistant camp commandant with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, gives a welcome brief to U.S. Marines and Sailors with Detachment B, Marine Air Control Squadron 4, Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 251 and Marine Aircraft Group 12 at Korat Air Force Base, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 8 2018. These units, from Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, are scheduled to work alongside the Royal Thai Air Force during the 37th iteration of Exercise Cobra Gold with the purpose of increasing the interoperability between allied nations, who have a long-standing alliance and commitment to security in the Indo-Pacific region.
