Matthew Zirkle, Director, Navy Reserve Innovation Branch, presents the Navy Reserve action plan "Ready to Win" to an audience of Reservists at Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC)North Island, Feb. 10. The plan consists of: simplifying the way Reserve Sailors support the fleet; providing more effective war fighting capabilities through innovative technology and supportive policies; leverage Sailors’ civilian skills and relationships to enhance contributions to the Fleet; and resource the manning, training and equipment that delivers more responsive Reserve Force capabilities to the Fleet.
