A fist full of M2 .50 caliber machine gun rounds awaits its fate - being locked, loaded and fired at pop-up targets by Hawaii Army National Guard's Bravo Troop, 1-299 Cavalry during a mounted training exercise June 6. An estimated 3,600 rounds are fired daily during the Cav's annual training at Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii. This training will better prepare the unit for their upcoming deployment, slated to occur in 2013.
