Sgt. Maj. Jeffery Vandentop, right, battalion sergeant major of 3rd Transportation Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, speaks about Sgt. Heriberto Navarro's achievements to the battalion at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 8, 2018. Navarro, the supply chief of Headquarters and Service Company, 3rd TSB, 3rd MLG, was honored as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s Noncommissioned Officer of the Year. Navarro won the award for being exemplary in his duties, which included managing roughly $250,000 worth of inventory and equipment during Korean Marine Exchange Program 18.1, as well as his performance as 3rd TSB’s color sergeant and his daily demonstration of the Marine Corps' core values.
