The Purple Heart display at the the 3rd Low Altitude Aerial Defense Battalion headquarters honors 3rd LAAD Marines who have earned a Purple Heart. The unit unveiled this display May 27 at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., as part of a new “Wall of Warriors” to honor 3rd LAAD Marines who have distinguished themselves in the line of duty.
