Kansas City District employee Leslie "Diane" McCoy received a commander's coin from the U.S. Army's 54th Chief of Engineers Lt. Gen. Todd Semonite for her work during a deployment to Puerto Rico supporting Hurricane Maria/Hurricane Irma response and recovery. Lt. Gen. Semonite recognized McCoy and several other deployed U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees during a visit to the South Atlantic Division's forward headquarters in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico with Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Ryan Fisher.
