A U.S. Marine with 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, conduct a security patrol around their area of operation in Marjah, Afghanistan, Feb. 2. The Marines with Lima Company 3/9 conduct security patrol in search for Improvised Explosive Devices and enemy threats around the area of operation.
