180130-N-HW977-195 CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2018) An Explosive Breach Test and Government Acceptance Test of R130G Breaching Infrastructure Project is conducted at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division's Range System Engineering Department designed and constructed the site following requirements from Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS) Marine Corps Systems Command. The key feature of the design is the adjustable "star pattern" at the base of each door, allowing for a variety of configurations; and vertical door jamb capable of withstanding the force of a quarter-pound net explosive weight (NEW) charge. The RS team also designed and constructed the 30-by-50-foot concrete pad with eight rail systems, provided the grading and drainage system. (U.S. Navy photo by Greg Vojtko/Released)
