Marines salute the colors at the retirement ceremony of Col. Anthony Ardovino, outgoing chief of staff, 1st Marine Logistics Group, on Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 3. Ardovino joined the Marine Corps in December 1982 after graduating from the University of Alabama. During his career, he served as an infantry platoon commander, company executive officer, aide-de-camp and logistics officer.
