Rail workers were sworn in as Crane Army Ammunition Activity employees last October, forty years after the U.S. Army took over conventional munitions at Crane. This week, Crane Army trains received the U.S. Army star. Crane Army Ammunition Activity provides conventional munitions support for U.S. Army and Joint Force readiness, including production, demilitarization, transportation and storage.
