Rex Newling, a City of Pierre electrician, checks the gauges of a generator placed adjacent to Well House 1 at Pierre's Steamboat Memorial Park June 2. Should flood waters reach the well house, and power to the well house cut off, the generator will keep water moving to one of the city's reservoirs until power can be restored.
