Staff Sgt. Casey Fletcher, 532nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron meteorologist fills the weather balloon with helium before launching it to take data in the air and send it back to a computer for tracking at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, May 27. The weather balloon is made from latex, when released it expands on its way up and soon burst then sends the radiosonde back down to the earth.
