PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 20, 2017) Members assigned to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 11 fast rope from a MH60S Knight Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Black Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4 on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) during a passing exercise (PASSEX) with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). America, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is returning from a 7-month deployment to the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th fleet areas of operations.
