A Boeing CH-47 Chinook transports a 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) vehicle to the nearby landing zone November 4, 2017 during the brigade's week-long field exercise. "Strike" maneuvered one battery of artillery and two battalions during their brigade-size air assault. The brigade has maintained a high operational training tempo for the last five months in preparation for a rotation to the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La. in the spring.
