New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg walks down from the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument after laying a wreath in honor of Memorial Day and escorted by Harlem Youth Marine Cadets, May 30. He was joined by Majo. Gen. Richard Mills, a Huntington, N.Y., native, and a number of Fleet Week New York Marines and sailors. More than 3,000 Marines, Sailors and Coast Guardsmen in the area participating in community outreach events and equipment demonstrations as part of Fleet Week New York 2011. This is the 27th year New York has hosted the sea services for Fleet Week.
