180119-N-NT795-528 SAN DIEGO (January 19, 2018) Cmdr. Jim Hendley, director of logistics assigned to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1, receives his Meritorious Service Medal award presented by Capt. Stan Chien, commander of CRG 1 during a retirement ceremony held at USS Midway Museum in downtown San Diego. Hendley retires after almost 24 years of service. CRG provides a core capability to defend designated high value assets throughout the green and blue-water environment and providing deployable Adaptive Force Packages (AFP) worldwide in an integrated, joint and combined theater of operations.
