They were recognized for their hard work during deployments at the Delaware Governor’s State of the State address at Legislative Hall. Friess deployed to Ahed Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait, from January –August 2017 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, where she served as the paying agent for the 407th Air Expeditionary Group. Friess received the Paying Agent of the Rotation Award, which is awarded to the top paying agent of an area of responsibility (AOR) during a specific rotation.
