MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - Gunnery Sgt. Matthew Morneau, company gunnery sergeant, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, gives a safety brief to Marines and Japan Ground Self Defense Force Soldiers before conducting a live fire range on Jan. 17, 2018. The U.S. Marines and Japanese Soldiers are executing training during Exercise Iron Fist 2018. It’s the 13th iteration of the annual bilateral training exercise, which takes place at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
