A British shipping container is loaded onto one of the 1244th Transportation Company trucks for transportation out of Iraq and back to Great Britain May 15, 2011, at Umm Qasr, Iraq. The British liaison officer asked the Tennessee Army National Guard’s 230th Sustainment Brigade to assist them in moving their last remaining equipment out of Iraq because they did not have the assets to do so on their own. Together with the Illinois Army National Guard’s 1244th Transportation Company, the two National Guard units successfully withdrew the remaining British personnel and equipment out of Iraq.
