Sailors assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) paint the local distribution center for the Crossroads Foundation, a Hong Kong-based non-profit organization specializing in global distribution of excess goods to impoverished communities. Nineteen Carl Vinson sailors participated in a community service project to assist with upkeep and maintenance at the 14-acre facility. Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 are underway in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
