Cpl. Austen McClean and Pfc. Jorge Mendez with Engineer Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 13 establish a mortar position and bunker building during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 19, 2017. CLB-13 is a logistical element, designed to provide a full range of expeditionary combat service support to sustain ground and air combat elements in an austere environment. The Marines of CLB-13 conducted this exercise to prepare for their upcoming deployment with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
