CAMP H.M. SMITH, Hawaii (Jan. 09, 2018)—Adm. Harry Harris, commander of U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM), and His Excellency Itsunori Onodera, Japan’s Minister of Defense, are welcomed at PACOM headquarters during an honors ceremony. Onodera is in Hawaii to visit the Pacific Missile Range Facility on the island of Kauai. During the visit, Harris and Onodera discussed the U.S.-Japan alliance and multilateral cooperation efforts that support peace and security in the region.
