U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew Clifford posts security during military operations in urban terrain training in Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 28, 2017. MOUT training was conducted to increase the unit’s survivability and lethality while operating in an urban environment. Clifford, a Milton, Massachusetts native, is a team leader with Kilo Co., 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
