Spc. Philip Flint, a Maryland National Guard Soldier from Company B, 1-175th Infantry, competed May 11-14 at the Region II Best Warrior Competition at Fort Indiantown Gap Warrior Training Grounds. Competitors from five states and the District of Columbia participated in the four-day event. Soldiers were evaluated at 12 individual events. The Soldier and NCO with the highest cumulative score at the end of the competition will be selected as the Region II Best Warrior or Best Warrior NCO.
