Darnall Army Medical Center's Patient Tray Service (PTS) cook and 'grill master' Cordell Caviness proudly displays his masterpiece: a perfectly grilled and seasoned 8-ounze rib-eye steak, part of the new patient experience meal for new moms. Besides the steak options, the 4-course meal for the Fort Hood-area new moms includes a baked potato, green beans, dinner roll, salad, fruit cocktail and a dessert.
