Three military personnel are participating in what appears to be a formal change of command or guidon transfer ceremony outdoors. Two individuals in US Army ACU (Army Combat Uniform) pattern camouflage are exchanging a blue unit guidon/flag with the word 'SUPPORT' visible on it, while a third individual in a different military uniform (possibly Polish, indicated by a visible patch) observes. The ceremony is taking place in a courtyard area with trees and a brick building in the background.

International Security Assistance Force Headquarters/Base Support Group Command Sgt. Maj. Roderick Brown, passes the BSG guidon to Air Force Col. Curtis M. Winstead during an assumption of command ceremony, May 19, in Kabul, Afghanistan, as Polish Maj. Gen. Boguslaw Samol, ISAF deputy chief of Staff for Resources, looks on. Samol was the presiding officer of the ceremony. Winstead, a 1980 Biloxi High School graduate from Mississippi took the reins from Col. Loren 'Skip' Johnson who returned to his command of the 137th Space Warning Squadron, Greeley Air National Guard Station, Colo.
