A U.S. Air Force C-5 Galaxy arrives with Hawaii’s first three AH-1Z Viper helicopters to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Dec. 15, 2017. The AH-1Zs will be serving as an upgrade to their predecessors, AH-1W Super Cobras, within Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367. As a fourth generation attack helicopter, its newest features allow it to be more agile, faster, and carry more ordnance than previous helicopters supporting a Marine Air-Ground Task Force in a similar role.
