171214-M-UX416-319 ARTA BEACH, Djibouti (Dec. 14, 2017) - French Navy Sailor Petty Officer 2nd Class John Schoeser supervises safety aboard a French landing catamaran as it prepares to arrive at Arta Beach, Djibouti, to conduct amphibious training during Alligator Dagger. Alligator Dagger, led by Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Expedition Brigade, is a dedicated, bilateral combat rehearsal that combines U.S. and French forces to practice, rehearse and exercise integrated capabilities available to U.S. Central Command both afloat and ashore.
