U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. James B. Laster, Director of the Marine Corps Staff, is awarded the title Honorary Raider by U.S. Marine Maj. Gen. Carl E. Mundy III, Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command at Stone Bay, Dec. 15, 2017. Laster is recognized with the inaugural awarding of the title for his foundational efforts as one of the original architects of MARSOC.
