The image shows a collection of damaged and recovered mechanical/aerospace components laid out on wooden pallets. The parts appear to be remnants of a rocket engine or missile propulsion system, showing significant damage, burning, and deformation. Some smaller components are individually wrapped in plastic bags, suggesting forensic or investigative documentation.

An Iranian Qiam class missile remnant on display at Joint Base Anacostia-Boling in Washington, D.C. Dec. 14, 2017 provides evidence of Iranian weapons proliferation in violation of United Nations resolutions 2216 and 2231. Patterned, machine-made welding marks, bottom left in blue, provide contrast to splotchy, field welding marks and provide proof of a missile’s disassembly and hasty reassembly for the purpose of hidden transport before it was fired into Saudi Arabia by Yemen’s Houthi rebels in 2017.
