Two hundred and sixteen images were shot over the course of 54 minutes and later combined to show the star trails over Thule Air Base, Greenland, Dec 11, 2017. Thule is the most northern base United States military members are stationed at around the world, and is charged with the mission of missile warning, space surveillance and satellite command and control.
