The image shows a metallic cylindrical component, likely a pipe or tube, featuring prominent weld beads running circumferentially around its surface. The object displays visible surface scratches, deformation, and what appears to be damage or stress marks on the metal. It is resting on a flat surface with blue protective film, possibly in an industrial or exhibition setting.

An Iranian Qiam-class missile remnant on display at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., Dec. 12, 2017, provides evidence of Iranian weapons proliferation in violation of United Nations resolutions 2216 and 2231. Patterned, machine-made welding marks, bottom left in blue, provide contrast to splotchy field-welding marks and provide proof of a missile’s disassembly and hasty reassembly for hidden transport before it was fired into Saudi Arabia by Yemen’s Houthi rebels in 2017.
