Capt. Timothy Siemer, 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, conducts engine start-up procedures on a C-17 Globemaster III prior to an air delivery mission. The C-17 aircrew delivered cargo aerially which consisted of fuel and other various supplies to a remote forward operating base in Afghanistan. Siemer is deployed from the 7th Airlift Squadron, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.
