PAMBALA, the first-ever trilateral combined medical engagement to take place in the Republic of Angola, consists of a four-day clinical operations mission focusing on services like preventative medicine, pediatrics, family practice, dermatology, optometry, dentistry, and obstetrics and gynecology at various field hospitals in the province. The engagement aims to build the foundation for future engagements between the U.S. and the Angola and enhance the 11-year partnership the Ohio National Guard has with Serbia, through the National Guard State Partnership Program.
