The 10-foot by 10-foot quilt welcoming wounded warrior athletes competing in the 2011 Warrior Games to Colorado Springs is on display in the Colorado Springs Airport. The quilt was made by eighth-grader Cali Overcast, a below the knee amputee, and contains more than 1,700 signatures and messages supporting the arriving athletes. The Warrior Games is a Paralympics-style sporting event among 200 seriously wounded, ill, and injured service members from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. (Photo by: Zona T.
