Lance Cpl. Jese Schag from Sheridan, Ill., takes a shot during wheelchair basketball practice during the two-week training camp preceding the 2011 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo. Schag, a graduate of Serena High School in Serena, Ill., is currently assigned to Wounded Warrior Battalion West, in Camp Pendleton, Calif. Schag will participate in wheelchair, basketball, volleyball and swimming. He won double gold medals as a member of the wheelchair, basketball and volleyball teams and a bronze medal in the 50-meter backstroke during the Inaugural Warrior Games. The Warrior Games is an annual Paralympic-style competition for wounded, ill and injured service members.
