U.S. Marine Cpl. Laramie Nash led his 14-man rifle squad to victory during the 3rd Marine Division Annual Squad Competition held in Okinawa, Japan, December 4-8. The Marines were awarded with a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal December 8, 2017, on Camp Schwab in Okinawa, Japan, for their superior overall performance in the 3rd Marine Division Annual Squad Competition. The Marines also received the Annual Rifle Squad Competition badge. Nash, a native of Houston, Texas, is a squad leader with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division.
