A U.S. Navy F-18 Hornet from the Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach and currently deployed to the USS Harry S. Truman Aircraft Carrier takes off for a Close Air Support training mission flight during the 2010 Falcon Air Meet, Oct. 24, 2010, Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Azraq, Jordan. For the first time during the FAM the U.S. Navy is participating in this friendly competition centered on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. F-16 units from Jordan, U.S. Air Force, and the UAE along with a Mirage unit from Pakistan are competing in the fifth annual event hosted by Jordan and the Royal Jordanian air force.
