Lance Cpl. Lui Carrasco, a rifleman with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, participates in the rappel phase of the 3rd Marine Division Annual Squad Competition December 4, 2017, in Okinawa, Japan. The competition began December 4, 2017 and will end December 8, 2017. The four units participating in the competition are deployed to Okinawa, Japan, under the Unit Deployment Program. The squads are with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment; 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment; 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment and Combat Assault Battalion.
