Col. Twanda “Tia” E. Young, director, U.S. Army Reserve G-1, is promoted to the rank of brigadier general during a ceremony at the U.S. Army Reserve Command headquarters, Fort Bragg, N.C., Dec. 1, 2017. Young, will assume her duties at the new deputy commanding general at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky. Young’s distinguished military career began at South Carolina State University, graduating in 1988 from the Reserve Officer Training Corps program.(Released Spc.
