    Several soldiers in MultiCam/OCP camouflage uniforms are working with what appears to be an M777 lightweight howitzer or similar artillery piece on a gravel surface. The soldiers appear to be conducting maintenance, assembly, or repositioning of the artillery equipment. The setting appears to be a forward operating base or military compound.

Knudsen, far right, a cannon crewmember from Jacksonville, Fla., assigned to B Battery, 3rd Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, Task Force Bronco, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, helps line up a M1198 Howitzer with it's target at Combat Outpost Monti in eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province, May 5. Knudsen and his fellow troops have been at COP Monti for less than a month.
